Transfer & Welcome
Our adventure begins! From Bologna Airport, we will take you to
our beautiful hotel in Riccione.
There, we will celebrate the
beginning of our adventure with a complementary Welcome Drink.
The rental bikes will be delivered, and we will all get fitted
to our bikes. Then, we will have a pre-dinner meeting to get
to know each other and go over our itinerary as well as the
details of our first day of cycling.
Day 2
Urbino Loop
The first destination is Urbino, the famous walled city of the Italian Renaissance.
Urbino is a city of art, home to the renowned painter Raphael and one of the most
powerful families of the era, the Montefeltros. We will ride through beautiful
hills and medieval villages on our way to this magnificent city.
If you prefer hiking, you can walk through charming chestnut forests
with the Rocca di Montefiore in the background, a witness to its past
as a border area between the Montefeltro and Malatesta territories.
The fortress was also the scene of a fierce battle between British
and German forces during World War II. A suggestive hike through
the hills, where the scents of local and religious traditions blend
together.

Day 03
San Marino Loop
There is no shortage of beautiful climbs in the hills of Romagna.
Today’s destination will be the Independent Republic of San Marino,
known for centuries as the Land of Freedom. We will be able to admire
its three famous towers right from the start of our ride in Riccione,
then ride through the historic center and take some photos of the
spectacular coastline below. The tour will conclude with a delicious
open-air lunch and wine tasting at a charming olive farm atop a hill
near Riccione.
If you prefer hiking, you can enjoy a typical walk full of the authentic flavors
of Romagna. A valley rich in rural aromas, with vineyards, olive groves, and local
herb gardens. The panorama opens from San Marino to Rimini, from Montefiore to
the San Bartolo hills, passing through the site of the tragic battles of the
Gothic Line during World War II. The tour will end with a delightful
open-air lunch and wine tasting.

the Adriatic Sea. It is a protected national park, full of stunning views and
historic villages. After a quick visit to the Pesaro city centre we will stop
for a traditional Italian cappuccino before we embark on our coastal
panoramic ride.
If you prefer hiking A walk that mixes the scents of the
land with the flavors of the sea and its legends, from the crucifix of Casteldimezzo,
to the poetic verses of Dante in Fiorenzuola, immersed on Mount San Bartolo up to
the cross overlooking the sea.

Day 06
Valparola Loop
We are now in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is time to
admire its many unique mountains. The plan today is to conquer Campolongo,
Falzarego and Valparola. You could be forgiven for thinking you are in Narnia.
If you prefer hiking Between Corvara, La Villa and San Cassiano we can find
the Pralongià and the Störes High Plateaus with stunning panoramic views
on the Fanes Group (Conturines and Lavarella), the Puez Group (Sassongher and
the mighty glacier of Marmolada). The green meadows are covered with lots of
mountain flowers.

Day 07
Sellaronda Loop
This is the loop that the whole world knows! Four consecutive climbs that
appear on every cyclist’s bucket list: Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella, and
Gardena, one after the other. If these four aren’t enough, on the way back
you can tackle the extra climb of Mur del Giat, 370 meters of hell with a 12.4%
gradient, made famous by the Giro d’Italia.
If you prefer hiking, beneath the towering face of Sasso di Santa Croce stands
a sacred chapel, built in 1484, it was expanded around 1650 in Rococo style,
complete with frescoes and a bell tower. It once served both as lodging for
pilgrims and as a home for the sacristan. Today, the building is a refuge
inviting hikers to enjoy a delicious Kaiserschmarrn and other traditional
dishes.

Day 8
Misurina Lake
How are your legs? One last effort before tomorrow’s recovery day.
In the morning, after climbing Valparola, we descend to the beautiful
town of Cortina, host of the 2026 Winter Olympics. The Tre Croci Pass
will take us to Misurina Lake and the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo:
Cima Piccola, Cima Grande, and Cima Ovest. To celebrate our final
Dolomites climb, we will enjoy a delicious local lunch at a Malga
farmhouse. If you don’t feel like cycling back, you can return to
the hotel by minibus.
If you prefer hiking, we start from Carbonin/Schluderbach in Val di
Landro and follow the winding forest road up to the first alpine
meadows, with stunning views of Cristallo and Croda Rossa d’Ampezzo.
Above 2,000 meters, you’ll be surrounded by blooming alpine landscapes
framed by the majestic Dolomite peaks.

Day 09
Transfer to Bormio
We leave the mountains of The Dolomites and travel to our final destination in the Italian Alps. En route, we will make a quick stop for lunch at the historic Forst Brewery, before arriving in the afternoon to our alpine base in Bormio, at the footsteps of the legendary Stelvio. You are living your dream!
Day 10
Fraele Towers
Let’s warm up our engines! Today we climb the “Little Stelvio”, a scenic
hairpin road leading to The Towers, an old 15th-century defensive outpost.
After passing the tunnels, we reach the top and enjoy stunning views of
the Cancano Lakes. The return is quick and easy, but for those who want more,
you can continue up to the Bormio 2000 ski area before heading back to the hotel.
If you prefer hiking, the Monte delle Scale (2,500m) offers one of Alta Valtellina’s
most panoramic peaks. From the Fraele Towers, a historic mule track from WWI leads
to the summit in about 2 hours, passing rocky ridges and spires reminiscent of the
Dolomites. Above 2,200 meters, the forest opens to exposed rocky terrain, offering
breathtaking views of the Bormio valley, the Stelvio Pass, and surrounding mountains.
With some luck, you may even spot eagles soaring above.

Day 11
Stelvio or Double Stelvio
This is the big day: Stelvio calling! A magnificent 2,750-meter climb awaits,
surrounded by spectacular, untouched landscapes. At the top, enjoy a delicious
brunch at Terrazza Perego. Those tackling the ascent a second time will descend
28 km along the 48 famous hairpins, passing Trafoi before facing a final 12 km
climb to Umbrail Pass, with an average gradient of 10% the ultimate Double
Stelvio!
If you prefer hiking, the Monte Scorluzzo (3,095 m) dominates the Stelvio Pass.
A round hike to Filon del Mot offers breathtaking high mountain views and traces
of the Great War. Along the trail, you can climb the peak while walking on historic
Austro-Hungarian and Italian lines, passing trenches, stone walls, wooden stairs,
barracks remains, and barbed wire a perfect mix of nature and history.

Day 12
Passo Gavia
If there is a King, there must be a Queen. Our Queen is Gavia. A beautiful ascent
to an epic peak. Here pages of heroic cycling have been written. The bravest
among us may consider concluding the day by tackling the Mortirolo after a long
descent to the valley. If not, be prepared for the most enjoyable downhill you
have ever experienced all the way back to Bormio.
If you prefer hiking Being
a little-known valley, it is not frequented much even in the summer months,
making the excursion very pleasant. Along the way, in the right season, it is
not uncommon to meet roe deer, chamois and marmots. This valley, within the
Stelvio National Park, connects Valtellina with the road that leads to Passo
Gavia, crossing wild but fascinating places. The physical effort is repaid by
the magnificent rhododendron flowering that colors the valley starting from
June.
